life is better with a box of chocolates

though we all know that 'life is a box of chocolates, you don't know what you're going to get', one thing i know for sure: chocolates will always get me (and 60% of all other women in the world) in a better mood.
lately though, i've been trying to curb it down by getting my oatmeal fix (recipe of which is somewhere below). i add oreo cookies to it or a scoop of milo malt to satiate my chocolate craving.
but i gotta ask though, what's the best chocolate you've ever had? ghiradelli? godiva? ferrero?
mine is very simple and juvenile, but alas it's been discontinued so its just a once-favorite. remember mars bars with almonds? that was hea-ven-ly. the closest that i can get to that now is snickers bars with almonds, but its just not the same.
i'm not a fan of fancy chocolates , especially those with fillings, and no , don't even get me close to licorice bullets--i think they're the nastiest confectionery invention ever.
lately i've been going dark. milk chocolate always has that creamilicious goodness, but leaves me feeling guilty. dark chocolates from Gertrude Hawk Chocolates are probably the finest.
even non-chocolate lovers will go left once they have had a taste.
between my mom and my dad, its my dad who loves chocolates more. if he's still around, i would definitely give him a box this sunday. for he deserves only the best.
