one of the items in my to-do list is to clean our blinds. it's quite a daunting task because we have such a high ceiling, and our upper blinds is definitely within mine, or anyone's reach (unless i use a 20 foot ladder, which we don't have)we are currently using normal blinds, but one day we'd like to have real wood blinds. i love the smell of wood--our dining table exudes a nice fresh woody smell, but unfortunately its starting to wear out.
apart from the smell, wood blinds also reflect a more natural kind of lighting within the house.
it doesn't solve the cleaning issue, but im sure our place will look much brighter with it. Just Blinds.com sells and installs almost all kinds of blinds you can imagine. they could even install and measure it for you.
