My First Love Thursday

Today is Love Thursday! :) What exactly is Love Thursday?

On Thursday, August 17th, 2006, Irene Nam from MOMster in Paris and Karen Walrond from Chookooloonks declared every Thursday "Love Thursday," inviting people to post pictures depicting love on their websites each week. In conjunction with this, behold the "Love Thursday" pool: feel free to upload your photographs depicting love in all its forms -- love of a partner, love of a child, love of a favourite toy, love of life -- to share with everybody. Unusual images of love -- fallen leaves that look like hearts, for example -- are also very welcome.

Also, be sure to visit the brand new website, Love Is All Around -- for even more images of love!
Although they have officially stopped Love Thursday last May 24, 2007, hundreds of Love Thursday(ers) are determined to keep the love alive by posting and sharing images of love every Thursday.

I found Love too late but I will try to start finding and sharing love every week. So here is my first image:

This is a photo of my husband, Zk, and his father. They had no idea I took this photo because they were too preoccupied trying to tickle and play wrestle each other, laughing with wild abandon, and of course-- gasping for air.
It amazes me to see that even as a grown and married man, my husband remains a playful and loving affection towards his father. Most Father-Son relationships that I know of are very curt, formal, almost civil, but theirs is just wild and fun.
Because it is the kind of love that we, as humans first encounter, I chose Parental Love as my first entry. The love that parents give their children speaks greatly of how the child will love another human being--be it the person they'll fall in love with, or their very own offspring.

I wish to continue the weekly tradition of Love Thursday, until I post a similar photo of my husband and his mini-me.

Have a wonderful Love Thursday to you all :)
